Gift & Endowment Opportunities

Mission Statement:

The Fort Morgan Community Hospital Association supports Colorado Plains Medical Center by providing

community ownership of a first-class medical facility for the benefit of all patients.

FINANCIAL GIFTS

• The Giving Society was introduced to improve the ease, convenience and benefit of community support for our local hospital. The Association can accept financial gifts of under $100. Gifts between $100 and $250 will be designated as Century Partners. Gifts of $251 and above will belong to the Leadership Circle.

MEMORIALS / HONORS

• Many people choose to recognize the memory of a special person and know that their gift will be used to help others in time of medical need. Memorials and honorary gifts can be made in any amount.

FORT MORGAN COMMUNITY HOSPITAL ASSOCIATION

• Founded in 1943 by a group of community members, the Association is a non-profit tax- exempt 501(c)3 organization dedicated to the improvement of the community’s health as well as access to high-quality local healthcare.

PLANNED GIVING

• Wills, life insurance policies, appreciated assets (stocks, bonds, mutual funds, property), mineral rights, savings bonds, IRAs, 401K accumulations, trusts and annuities can be given to the hospital as charitable gifts.

ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITIES

• Donations can be made to annual Association events, like the Golf Classic, Hospital Hustle, spring event or Downtown Progressive Dinner. Other options include the purchase of a brick, a bench or artwork for the hospital hallways.

• The sister organization “The Fort Morgan Community Hospital Foundation” also accepts gifts.

PAST GIFTS

• The Medical Office Building, rehab unit, therapy pool, rooftop helipad, OB equipment, ICU/Medical/Surgical inpatient area, educational resources, hospital furnishings, artwork and support for the Rural Residency program are the most recent projects of FMCHA.
